Pairing a scarf and a necklace together has always been something I have thought about doing (and have done on mannequins), but have never felt comfortable actually doing for myself. A simple denim on denim work outfit was the push I needed to step out of my comfort zone and try this combination. When I wear this scarf the way I did, the main section around my neck is just white, so to add detail there I wore my Cleopatra-ish collar necklace under the scarf for a pic-a-boo look. The rest of the outfit was very simple with a gold bracelet, and brown riding boots. I really liked how the necklace detail took the outfit from boring to new and exciting. Would you ever try something like this?
