When you think of a banquet in the summer in early evening, what do you think? Well I think a banquet hall with tables, chairs, food, and awards. That is why I wore a nice silk dress and cute wedges. What I should have worn was a bathing suit, cover up, and flip flops because it turns out that I was attending a pool party, not a banquet. To say I felt awkward wouldn’t even begin to explain it! Anyways, I was excited to get another chance to wear this dress for a non-holiday event (check out how I planned to wear it for the 4th of July here).
