At first, I wasn’t very excited about this outfit, but as I started to style and accessorize the look I was really happy with it. I really wanted to find a color to wear with these burgundy pants, but in the end I still wore neutrals so that is something I really want to work on. I’m thinking maybe a blue like the blue in my sandals.
I have worn this shirt many times in so many different ways. I’ve worn it with jean shorts, green shorts, classic jeans, orange jeans, teal jeans and now red jeggings. It’s so versatile which is what I love most about it. Also, it’s great for mixing patterns which is exactly what I did today. With the Aztec print on the shirt I added a skinny cheetah print belt, gold-faced cheetah print boyfriend-styled watch, and these crazy fun sandals. I found these shoes at Plato’s Closet for probably around $10 and I could not live without them! They have have red, blue, black and white, and nude straps; along with sparkles, bows, and small peacock feathers. I can’t think of a better example of statement shoes! So even though I couldn’t find a fun colored shirt to go with these pants, I made up for it with fun shoes.

  1. Lauren,
I think I would like to do my little blog like you said about something my mom use to cram into mine and my sisters head, wearing the proper undergarment for your outfit. I know it is not too exciting, but I can do accessories instead if you like. THings like slips and shapers can actually be considered an accessory ,because if yo don’t wear the right one, the outfit is a total loss. SHoes and scarves and purses and jewelry are cool but if the outfit suffers from underwear, thongs, bra straps and body parts sticking out it is a no go! Just tell me what you think I will go with whatever you like.
