In honor of Rue La La’s new Handbag Style Guide, they have asked me to share with you what I keep inside the most personal part of my life… my purse! Since it is in the middle of the semester, I have also added in some school essentials.
One of the biggest investments a lot of women make is a high quality purse. It is something that is used every day in all types of weather and situations. Before diving into the purchasing process make sure to check out Rue La La’s Handbags 101 to make sure that your long saved, hard earned money is going into something of he highest quality possible.
My current bag of choice is a Kate Spade tote saying “Is this seat taken? #handsomestranger” purchased off of Ebay because who doesn’t need some humor during a long day of classes and computer work?
The most important things that keep me going on a daily basis are my agenda, blog camera, business cards, wallet and lipstick! Most recently I have been carrying this small card holder rather than a wallet because it is light weight and easily transfers purses. Speaking of light weight, I have given up carrying all of my lipsticks around with me and pick one a day to wear.
On a school day I always add at least three things, besides textbooks and notebooks, my laptop, a file folder, and a small notebook. The file folder is something new this semester. It slips perfectly into my bag and is open at the top. There are eight slots, one for each class and some left over for various other things that require paperwork. The notebook is for To Do lists, quick class notes and jotting down meeting notes. It has saved me multiple times recently!
What can you not leave the house without?
