Black Friday

Black Friday… The day when everyone in the world wakes up at ridiculous hours, after stuffing their faces the night before, to get the perfect gifts at majorly discounted prices. In my case it was more like not sleeping to get to the mall at midnight to soon realize that the discounts were much too small compared to the lines necessary to stand in to buy them. This is definitely the last time I go right when the stores open.

Even though we are “shopping for presents for other people” here’s a tip to all of you out there trying clothing on for yourselves. Even if you do find something that is basically free you don’t always need it! Go through these few steps- 1. Does it fit and flatter? 2. Will you actually wear it? 3. Look at the line in the store; is the item you’re buying worth standing in the line? If you think about those few things, you may be thankful later on when you can buy something that you just cannot live without!

While you are finding all of your great deals, there is something that I need to point out. I realize that it’s the middle of the night while you’re shopping, but that doesn’t mean you need to be in your pajamas! Please do everyone else at the store a favor and put some real clothes on!  Also, fuzzy slippers do not count as shoes. Ugg boots are just a comfy and will do the job much better! If you love shopping enough to go in the middle of the night, I have faith that you have a real outfit somewhere in that closet of yours!

Happy Shopping,

Lauren
