I honestly cannot remember the last time I wore shorts! It’s in the 80s here in Lexington today so I took that opportunity to bring my shorts out of hiding for the day. I’m not ready to go back to only wearing shorts, but I am enjoying a little bit of warmth today. One new trend that I’ve noticed lately is matching a statement necklace to a key piece of the outfit like the shirt or pants like I did today with my green necklace and shorts. If you’ve ever seen What Not To Wear (if you haven’t it is 100% necessary that you watch it ASAP because it is simply amazing) Stacy and Clinton always say that it is better that your outfits “go” rather than “match”, so this matching trend is fun because it is breaking the rules. But you know what? Rules are meant to be broken!
