Lately I have been talking a lot about dressing up a casual piece, but today I decided to try to dress down a pair of leather shorts. I have had these shorts for a while expecting to wear them dressed up to a party or some sort of night out, and since I have not been able to do that recently, dressing them down seemed like the second best option. I have had a hard time deciding how to dress down these Forever 21 shorts, but I love today’s final look. The white tee says casual Saturday, and the shorts and accessories say fashion forward. I kept the look summery with a yellow polka dot skinny belt, a fuchsia beaded necklace, and a polka dot pink and white bangle with some added sparkle. Now I’m excited to see what else I can do with these shorts!
