My favorite way to start the transition from summer into fall is by pairing sweaters and shorts. This sweater is an old favorite that, if you read laurenallen.com last winter, you have seen over and over again. Today I paired it with a pair of white shorts and orange shoes to keep the look bright and summery while still being perfect for the cooler day that we had yesterday. By the way, the weather here in Kentucky has been mind-blowing to me lately. If I tried to wear this sweater in Florida in August I would have died from overheating, but here it has been in the 50/60s in the morning and the high 70s/ low 80s in the afternoon. Am I crazy and this is normal for everywhere but Florida, or has this been weird for everyone else too??
