I am so excited to finally tell you all about this scarf! As I was shopping for my cousins homecoming dress (the one from day 168) I came across this scarf and thought it represented this fashion blog so well that I just had to buy it. It is harder to tell from far away, but the print on the fabric is newspaper clips about fashion with beautifully colored high heels scattered around. I can’t think of anything better to explain a fashion blog AND it is to die for cute so I am naming it the “Lauren Allen’s fashion blog mascot”. You will be seeing a lot of it this winter!
I was even more excited (if that’s possible) about this outfit when I realized that the perfect thing to complete it was my brand new red lipstick that I haven’t had an opportunity to wear yet. This flower belt also works well with the scarf, at first I was afraid they would be competing with each other but it turned out they complement each other very well. Surprisingly enough, my favorite $5 dress was the neutral of the outfit, dressing it up since it was a church outfit. Nothing makes me feel for confident than rocking bold red lips and a full scarf!
