This weekend my mom and I each had open schedules, so we decided to trek down to our old stomping grounds before everything gets crazy again. Our first stop in Gainesville was to get our hair colored so that it was pretty for all of the meetings and pictures that happened throughout the weekend. Then we eventually made it to one of my favorite locally owned bakeries, Patticakes for a midday snack and energy boost.
Since it was so hot in Gainesville, I stuck with shorts and sleeveless tops all weekend. This look was simple high waisted shorts (with fun embellishments) and a sheer button down. Perfect for running around saying hi to old friends!
