Today I remembered my favorite way to relieve stress- shopping. My bank account may have taken a little hit but I feel much better! While on the way to TJ Maxx I was reminding of their commercially and I thought about how I am totally a maxxinista! (feel free to introduce me to their casting director 😀 ) While I was there I picked up some basics for this season so I didn’t end up paying full price for them at the mall. The first think I found was black jeggings to go with boots and longer shirts, after that I just grabbed a bunch of shirt and ended up getting a denim looking button down and a high/low floral button down. These will all be great staples in my wardrobe!
I had almost forgotten about this dress that I wore today until I was desperate to find something besides black pants to wear! It still feels like summer outside so I was ok with a summery color pallet today. This necklace added interest to the dress by using the same color as the dress and different textures. I added color with my lace pink tank, floral heels and of course my signature pink lips. It was great for the meeting, not so great for running to class, but it was cute so that’s all that matters!
