Today I had another chance to go back to Keeneland to watch the horse races, and I had so much fun! The temperature dropped about 30 degrees from yesterday which I was not ready for when I showed up at the races today. I wore a jacket thinking that it would be enough, but I was very wrong. It was extremely windy today (as you can see, my hair looks like an afro thanks to the wind), and tights would have been a better option. Luckily, I spent most of my time inside and was perfectly comfortable.
This dress is great to have in my wardrobe because it is a very flowey, non-wrinkle fabric that can go anywhere. Then this white jacket adds great texture and shape to a very straight cut dress. I also wore wedge heals with a fun snake skin looking heel because wedges are much more comfortable to walk around in than pumps, and they added another pop of texture to the outfit. I loved this outfit so much that it was hard to take it off to put on a bathing suit for work!
