Even though today starts my Junior year in college I feel like a little freshman all over again. I have absolutely no idea how to get anywhere on campus and on top of that I only know one person. Luckily enough, that one person is willing to show my around and help me get to where I need to be. My schedule today could not get any more spread out with one class at 11 am and then a second class at 6 pm.
I had the hardest time deciding what to wear today, partially because I picked my outfit at midnight last night, and partially because, as I suspected, a majority of students are already in sweats on the first day of school. I know what you are thinking right now, “what happened to being over dressed rather that underdressed??” Well I want to meet people which requires looking approachable which doesn’t usually happen while being over-dressed in college. I finally decided on pink shorts and my denim vest. The rest of the outfit came together at 5 am when I woke up, and I’m actually very happy with how it turned out! Just enough color to pop while not being over whelming, and what would a first day of school be without a little bit of sparkle??
