Today was definitely a grandpa sweater kind of day. It was so hard to get out of bed this morning, so once I finally did comfortable clothes was the only option. This sweater also just happened to show up in the mail yesterday which meant that I had to wear it. Forever 21 was having an amazing sale of 50% off all sale items so I snatched this sweater and another black and white one for $5 a piece. That’s my kind of shopping! Being the good business people they are, Forever 21 also convinced me to buy things off of the sale section, but I still got a great deal on new earrings (on yesterday’s blog) and an amazing shimmery cheetah print scarf. I would have worn the scarf today, but I really wanted color in my outfit. Winter can be dark and dreary, and I’m tired of boring colors, so today I wore my floral jeans, new tan sweater, brown boots and knee high socks, and finished with a fusha/red scarf. I even wore my red pea coat to add more color. This isn’t a crazy colorful outfit, but it’s light and airy compared to the usual dark and depressed winter look.
