Make up credit- Image Insight
Today was a very exciting day because I got to go to my first horse race at the Keeneland Racetrack! I was spoiled a bit because my dad’s boss gave us his presidential suite tickets, so our group had a table and food all day where we could enjoy the races sitting down. The rule about these suits is that it is required to dress formally. I didn’t mind that at all! Since I was sitting with a bunch of business people I decided to go for business formal rather than college student formal with a beautiful fitted cap sleeve dress and black pumps. These shoes were not ideal for walking around the grandstand, but I worked through the pain!
My favorite part of the day was the people watching. There were a ton of college students and most everyone was dressed very nicely. I enjoyed seeing all of the major trends like statement necklaces and riding boots worn in different ways than they would be normally worn on a school day. It was an amazing day of horse and people watching! Next year I think it would be fun to set up a fashion booth to take pictures of people’s outfits and blog about why they picked what they are wearing! 🙂
