The MTV Video Music Awards were this past Thursday and I fell in love with some of the outfits so I thought I’d share some favorites.
The first picture is Miley Cyrus, I am personally not a fan of the new hairdo but i like what she did with it for the big night and her dress is fabulous. It is slightly edgy with beautiful fitted sleeves and a whole bunch of cleavage but since she is covered everywhere else it is appropriate.
The second Photo is of Rihanna in a backless white gown. My favorite thing about this outfit is that she put a pop of color with the bright clean lines of the white dress.
I am a huge fan of Demi Lovato and she always looks fabulous so I, of course, had to add her into the mix. She sang at the preshow for the VMA’s when she received her award for “Best music video with a message” and she wore the outfit on the left. For the actually event she wore a fitted black, backless dress with sleeves. Both outfits were very similar with black dresses and red lips but with totally different feels to them. She went flawlessly from rocker-chic to big award show presenter and attendee.
My favorite part of big award shows like this is to see the outfits, it is the highlight of my day and I am glad that there was plenty to enjoy this year!
