After the last big snow we had I wore my $15 rain boots to class and by the time that I got there my feet were numb. That day I went home, went on the Hunter website and bought myself a good pair of wellies and a pair of boot socks. The only reason that it was allowed to rain and snow yesterday was so I could wear my purple rain boots!
On Tuesday it was 75 and sunny and yesterday it was in the 30s and snowing. Keeping up the weather is exhausting let alone everything else that has been on my mind this week. To fight the black cloud hanging over me (literally and figuratively) I decided to keep my outfit as colorful and cheerful as possible. This green/teal London Fog rain coat is always my go-to on rainy days, and being able to wear it with my new purple rain boots had me smiling from ear to ear (in my favorite Cpink Chanel lipstick of course). I added some pattern to the look with Aztec print leggings and underneath was my navy, black and white tiger sweater with shoulder spikes. The sweater was really just there to keep me warm as the temperature dropped, it was the jacket that I wanted to be the center of attention.
