As I start the Spring semester of my Junior year today I am feeling unprepared for today and the rest of the semester. This “break” had me running around non-stop trying to get as much done as possible before adding a full course load back onto my plate. I was in complete denial about the beginning of this semester until my alarm rang at 5:30 this morning screaming at me to get up, get showered, and pack whatever school supplies I could scrounge up from last semester to get through this long day of classes. I am carrying my Kate Spade tote again this semester, but I usually like to get a feel for how my classes will go before buying school supplies. Some classes require a notebook for a lot of note taking, and some classes require a binder for all of the papers that will be handed out through out the semester, so instead of just buying a little bit of everything I attend class first to deicide what I will need. Oh, and did I mention that I still need to sell last semesters text books at buy my textbooks for this semester? So much to do, so little time! But after spending almost the entire day yesterday working out in some form or another I am exhausted today, which means instead of freaking out about all of that I am writing this blog during my break in a cozy chair staring out the glass wall at the beautiful snow falling. I get grumpy about snow when I have places to go, but luckily I’ll be in this building for the nest three hours which means I can just relax and enjoy it.
As I said before, I am exhausted from yesterday and freezing from this over-cast winter day, so comfort and warmth were the first things on my mind at 5:30 this morning (I would have picked out a better outfit if I planned ahead and pulled my outfit last night, but like I said, I was in denial!). The blush pink in this polka dot button down is emphasized by my pink LOFT open cardigan and RnJ Accessories necklace, and leggings with knee high boots is a sleek look dressing the outfit up some while letting the top be the statement.
