I have been living a weirdly simple and predictable life recently and although I moved to New York City to avoid just that, I couldn’t be happier right now! For the first time in my year of living here I always know what days I’ll be working and exactly what time I’ll start and finish. My style has also been reflecting my simple life. Basics can be so sophisticated and fun at the same time.
What’s far from simple though are my new shoes that I just can’t get enough of. Are they practical? Not totally. Are they timeless? Nope. Will I wear them far past their trend timeline? Most definitely! I love that they can take the most basic of outfits and turn it into something special and unpredictable.
