Time for a Change

After four years and 800 blog posts, it was time for a change on this website that I love so much.

Since turning this website into a fashion blog I have graduated from high school AND college and I am now starting the biggest adventure my life has ever seen.

I am moving to New York City, the city that has had my heart since I was young. Some of you may think I’m crazy (to which I would agree), and some of you may be wondering why I didn’t do this a long time ago (to which I would also agree).

This life change means a blog change.

I am no longer going to be posting “high fashion looks on a college student budget,” because I am no longer a college student. Instead, I will be posting about my trials and tribulations while trying to make it big as a fashion stylist in the fashion capital.

This is something I have been working towards for a few years now and I can’t believe that it is finally happening.

What I really can’t believe is the lack of information on the internet about the work it takes to become the next Rachel Zoe. Sure, we all love her and think she is the coolest mom ever, but how many years of work did she put in before having her own TV show?

Maybe I will end up as a web designer in Kentucky, never leaving my small apartment with 5 dogs and a baggy old sweatshirt, but I also could be the next Joe Zee! My intensions are to write about my adventure along the way so that any aspiring stylists can see the behind the scenes of this one stylist’s steps up the career ladder.

Let’s hope I make it to the top so this story can have a happy ending!

If I’m being really honest here, the real reason I am doing this is because I genuinely love writing and wasn’t ready to give it up just yet.

Please check back every week to see what has happened that week! I don’t think I’ll be doing much name dropping any time soon, but you never know.

Until next time, don’t be afraid to dream.
