I have been doing a lot of traveling this holiday season, so I thought that today I would share my favorite traveling outfit! This outfit is a bit dressy, but I was excited to wear some of the things I got for Christmas and we also went to dinner that night. So even though this is a nice outfit, it has the basic formula for my favorite traveling outfits. Everyone’s goal when they are getting ready to sit in a car or plane for a long period of time is comfort. Same goes for me, that is why I always try to wear leggings and a big cotton shirt when I know I have a long day of traveling ahead of me. So, this outfit may appear to be a nice outfit, but it’s really just comfortable, soft cotton clothes (like sweats).
To break down this outfit a little more, here’s what I did. Obviously (because I was traveling) I started with leggings, and then added this gorgeous Cotton On shirt from Christmas. Since the shirt is pretty short in the front, and I was wearing leggings, I wore a long black tank to make the outfit look more appropriate. Then my new scarf and head band added interest to the look. I fell in love with this headband from Bella Rose Boutique as soon as I saw it online. I’m totally obsessed with peacock feathers so this had my name written all over it! It also goes perfectly with this one of a kind scarf that my grandma found for me for Christmas. It may be a bit much, but fashion is for taking risks and having fun, and that’s exactly what I did!
