Last week I was invited to a March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction, and my love for babies, food and dressing up all meant that nothing could keep me away! It had been a while since I had really felt great, until this night. I got my hair done by Ainslie, owner of Hairchitexture, spent an hour making my makeup look perfect and put on my shiniest heels!
For this event I borrowed one of my mom’s cocktail dresses, and finally wore my vegan fur coat from Street Scene that has been sitting in my closet since the summer! There is nothing more classic than lace and fur, especially during the holiday season. The coat and dress were so much of a statement that I kept accessories simple… gold, gold and more gold!
Now I’m dying to go to another party so I have another excuse to get dressed up again!
