Happy Valentine’s Day!! Whether you are celebrating the day of love, or Singles Awareness Day, this should be a day of loving yourself.
So many people have so many opinions about what this day means, but to me it’s all about universal love. I’m in a really good place in my life at the moment. I love my job(s), I love the people that I surround myself with and most of all, I really love myself.
It took me a long time to get to this place, and if a silly greeting card holiday is what it takes to fully acknowledge that then I am OK with the paper hearts and chocolate kisses all around.
We all struggle everyday with insecurities; some that others can see and some that are hidden deep inside of us. I can see so many just in these pictures! What I’m not going to do though is let my insecurities hold me back from the things I love to do like play dress up, wander around NYC and blog about my adventures.
Love yourself first and everything else falls into place.
