There’s nothing that makes me happier than to say that I am typing this from the airport. Why? Because that means I am off to an adventure of a life time! More details on the travels later.
What is important now is that when I asked how I should pack for the trip, the answer I got was “Your most fabulously fashionable NYC outfits!” Total freak out began immediately.
That obviously meant that I had to go shopping because I have no cute clothes in my wardrobe. I stayed semi-rational though and stuck to a little bit of Goodwill shopping, some DIY fun and a lot of tearing through my room picking outfits with my roommate.
Before I post all of those chosen outfits, here is one of my real-life NYC outfits. Turtle necks have become a staple in my daily life, and this leather jacket is perfect for days that are just a little too warm for a coat. I even tried out something trendy and added a pair of fishnets under my boyfriend jeans. Although it may not have made a huge different in my outfit, it did keep me extra warm!
